About

Peter is an Award-Winning Writer, Actor, Producer, and Director, working across Film, TV, Radio, Stage, and Online. He holds a Bachelor of Performance from Theatre Nepean (WSU), and a Masters of Writing from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Peter is a dedicated and versatile collaborator – a staunchly brave and professional Storyteller.

In 2023, Peter had three feature films released. He played the main antagonist – the violent and complicated Gazza – alongside 2022 Health Ledger Scholarship winner Rahel Romahn in the AACTA-nominated film, Streets of Colour – a hard-hitting, emotional crime drama. He was also seen in the stirring and crucial expose into the human trafficking trade in Australia in the daring and poignant feature film, Get Free. And in late 2023, as Producer, Peter had his documentary feature film, Disconnect Me, arrive on the cinema screens – making a social impact and exploring modern society’s addiction to their devices. “It’s a vital examination of our current technologies; of ourselves; of our relationships – of our times. All told with an immediacy that brims with humour, humanity, and humility.”-Peter Maple, FILM INK interview, January 24, 2023.
